Bachman's
Inc. has been in business
since 1885, when founder Henry Bachman, Sr. first planted potatoes,
lettuce, onions, and squash on a plot of land in south Minneapolis.
Today, that plot contains the firm's headquarters, with acres of
floral, gift, garden, and landscaping departments. Bachman's has
grown to be one of the largest traditional floral and nursery operations
in the world.
In the spring of 1984, Bachman's
opened the Nursery Wholesale Center to service the garden center,
nursery and landscape industries. The Wholesale Center is located
on our 629 acre growing range in Farmington, Minnesota. Increased
demand for Bachman's quality nursery and landscape products has
driven rapid growth of the Wholesale Center. Landscape professionals
can now choose from a complete line of nursery stock and hardgoods
from a 30 acre holding yard. We've become known for providing excellent
value through product quality, professional service, and excellent
selection.
Also located on the 629 acre Lakeville
/ Farmington Growing Range are Bachman's Nursery Field and Container
Production operations. Bachman grown nursery stock is known
widely to be of excellent quality. Our adjacent production
facilities offer customers a tremendous plus in terms of product
selection, quality, and timely service. |
