Delivery & Pickup

Bachman’s Wholesale Nursery takes pride in our delivery services offered to customers. We have worked hard to develop shipping lanes throughout the Upper Midwest by offering our customers a respected, ‘Service First’ delivery program. Let us be your trusted partner for all your delivery needs this season!

Delivery

  • Product payments are processed prior to all scheduled deliveries. Valid payment information is required in advance of any scheduled service.
  • Deliveries scheduled 36 hours in advance of desired ship date will take precedence over shorter notice requests.
  • To maintain order accuracy and avoid additional fees, changes to delivery service must be communicated to Bachman's Wholesale Nursery office by 2:00 P.M. the day prior to the scheduled delivery. Service changes include but are not limited to time of delivery, delivery address changes, product additions and/or deletions.
  • Deliveries are routed to prioritize efficiency; therefore, delivery times are intended to serve as estimates and are not guaranteed.
  • Delivery drivers are instructed to call the site contact listed on order the day of delivery to offer an estimated delivery window and coordinate delivery. All delivery drivers are instructed to leave a voicemail or text message as a way to document a communication attempt. TO MAINTAIN DELIVERY SCHEDULE, PLEASE HAVE SITE CONTACT READY TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION FROM the DRIVER.
  • Proper site access is required for the scheduled delivery vehicle. Please ensure that delivery driver has safe access to unloading location.
  • It is critical that site contact be physically on site at time of arrival, as well as having appropriate crew and equipment needed to safely and completely unload product. Delivery drivers should not be expected to assist in unloading product.

Returns

  • Contact your Sales Representative in advance of any product return requests.
  • A Bill of Lading along with a Return Form will be included with all deliveries as a way to help document product returns.

Customer Pick Up

  • Pick up orders scheduled 36 hours in advance of arrival time will take precedence over shorter notice requests.
  • Customers scheduling 3rd party pick up (contracted driver, courier) will be required to provide the Wholesale Nursery office with the following information: customer name, project name, list of material to be picked up.
  • Place your orders in advance by visiting BachmansWholesale.com, by emailing NurserySales@Bachmans.com or by contacting your sales representative.
  • Please provide payment information prior to pickup.

Discount Program

Nursery Stock Volume Incentive Plan (V.I.P.)

All products purchased in 2026 including hardgoods, Field Direct nursery stock, discounted nursery stock, etc. qualify to build volume for your V.I.P. discount in 2027.

You will receive your V.I.P. discount on all purchases of regularly priced plant material including perennials, evergreens, shrubs, and trees. Discounted nursery stock, Field Direct trees, direct-shipped product, and delivery charges do not qualify for V.I.P. discounts.

Your V.I.P. discount for 2027 will be based on the following schedule and will be determined by your total purchases made during the 2026 calendar year. All terms must be met to qualify for V.I.P. discounts.

Terms & Conditions

In an effort to maintain our highest standard of quality and customer service, we have made some updates to our ordering terms and conditions for the 2026 season.

House Accounts (Invoice / Credit Memo)

Terms for House Account customers are Net 30 days from issuance date of invoice. A 1.5% monthly/18% annual finance charge will be applied to past due balances. Access to current open invoices as well as payment history can be made through the wholesale website login. Monthly statements are mailed out on the 1st of each month. Current and past statements are also available through the Bachman’s Credit Department. They can be reached by phone at 612-861-7670 or by email at credit@bachmans.com.

A 1.5% convenience fee will be charged if you pay your open charge account balance with a credit card after your net standard payment terms. Convenience fee will not be added if credit card payment is received at point of sale.

Cash / Check / Bankcard Accounts (Cash Sale / Cash Refund)

Customers with Cash/Check/Bankcard accounts are encouraged to have a bankcard on file and are required to pay for product at time of delivery/pick up. Product purchases through our website are required to have payment at time of checkout. Transaction history can be viewed through the wholesale website login.

American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa are accepted.

C.O.D.'s

Delivery drivers do not take payment for product shipped/received. All shipments must be billed to a bankcard or your Bachman’s House Account. Normal payment process practice for delivery types are as follows:

Semi/Flatbed: Payment for wholesale nursery product will be processed prior to scheduled delivery date, after material has been loaded on truck.

Dock Truck/Courier: Payment for wholesale nursery product will be processed on day material has been loaded and is out for delivery.

Conditions of Sale

This wholesale listing is offered to licensed nurseries, dealers, and landscape contractors only. We do not quote prices or sell to retail customers. Prices quoted herein are F.O.B. at our wholesale yard at Farmington, Minnesota.

Special Orders

Special Order requests across all programs are subject to availability. Bachman’s Wholesale Nursery and Hardscapes will make every effort to reserve product as ordered and will notify you when alternatives to variety and sizing may be needed. Special ordered products are subject to a non-refundable deposit dependent on product ordered.

Customer Tagged Nursery Stock

Pre-tagging by customers for valid orders is allowed at Bachman’s Wholesale Nursery. Please provide advanced notice of your needs and planned arrival time to help ensure a quality experience. All tagged material will be honored for two weeks after date of tagging. Please note that deposits will be required for product holds beyond the two-week timeframe. All Field Direct orders must be picked up or delivered within 10 days of notification.

Restocking Fee

20% restocking fee will be charged for cancellations...

  • after orders are staged for delivery or in sold bay for pick up.
  • occurring after order is out for delivery.
  • occurring after special ordered product has been received.
  • of over-ordered returns.

Self Service Shopping

Customers who choose to take advantage of our self-serve shopping option are required to check in at the front office prior to pulling and/or loading any plant material into vehicle. We recommend calling ahead to let the nursery know your time of arrival. Nursery office can be reached at 651-463-3288.

Claims

Claims, for any cause, must be made within 5 days of the invoice. All shipments travel at purchaser’s risk. Bachman’s Inc. warrants to the extent of the purchase price that nursery stock is true to name and as described within recognizable tolerance. Seller gives no other warranty, expressed or implied, and will, under no circumstances, be liable for more than the invoice value at the time of purchase. We cannot assume any warranty as to productiveness after transplanting.
